The daughter of an artist (Stefano Franceschi is not only her coach, but also her father), Sara is the athlete who crosses the 'i's' when it comes to medley. Known for her textbook swimming technique, the Livorno-born athlete has made herself the protagonist of a remarkable growth path in recent years. At the European Championships in Rome 2022, she won the bronze medal in the 200 medley and at the last Italian Open Championships she set a new Italian record in the same distance, qualifying for the World Championships in Fukuoka. A smiling and positive girl, she managed to combine her role as daughter and athlete in an excellent way, which is not so obvious. Through her sporting career, she has shown that hard work pays off and that a great athlete is one who knows how to wait for the right moment to confirm herself.
